Founded in 2005, dPoint Technologies began its journey into the world of heat and humidity exchangers when it's CEO, James Dean saw an opportunity to license the patents, designs and manufacturing equipment for low cost membrane humidifier technology from leading fuel cell manufacturer, Ballard Power Systems. After a comprehensive market and technology assessment in 2006, dPoint expanded its vision and product line to develop and apply this unique technology to manufacture Energy Recovery Ventilator (ERV) Cores for the HVAC industry.
Today, dPoint is a recognized leader in the ERV and Fuel Cell industries with an innovative team of membrane and humidity exchanger experts who come from respected high tech firms. Together they intend to develop and supply the world with superior membrane materials and energy recovery products to improve people's lives, conserve energy and help address environmental issues.
dPoint continues to undertake research and develop new membrane materials and exchanger designs for future applications and solutions with plans to expand its product line in the coming years.
