David Kadylak has been with dPoint for nearly a decade, starting out as a mechanical designer, and taking on other roles along the way including fuel cell humidifier product manager and development lead, engineering manager, and now technical lead of the exchanger design team. David has been instrumental in introducing new products, such as the high efficiency open spacer ERV core, and has a patent awarded for a pleated counter-flow ERV core, with another one in the works.
In 2009, David completed his Masters of Applied Science at UBC while working with dPoint and the application of heat and mass transfer in water vapor transfer membranes. He originally graduated from the Mechanical Engineering Program ‘summa cum laude’ at the University of Waterloo where he received the Canadian Society for Mechanical Engineering Gold Medal. David brings significant injection molding and machine design experience and previously worked with a high tech company in the field of MEMS/nanotechnology. Further training has been in New Product Development Best Practices and Experimental Design (Significance).
