Curtis Mullen
Curtis Mullen is responsible for product development of ERV products at DPoint. He led the design, building and commissioning of DPoint's ERV testing equipment. Currently, Curtis is focusing on scaling ERV manufacturing from prototype to full-scale volumes.
Prior to joining DPoint, Curtis worked for Air Canada as a heavy maintenance engineer, Teleflex as a testing and design engineer, and Syncrude as a mine maintenance engineer. Curtis is also interested in entrepreneurship, and has competed in new venture competitions such as the one hosted by Colorado State University. Curtis was attracted to DPoint by the corporate culture, in addition to his interest in startup companies.
Curtis graduated in the top of his Mechanical Engineering class at the University of British Columbia, specializing in Thermofluids. In addition to the technical knowledge gained, his studies also gave him an awareness of sustainability issues and sparked his desire to work in clean energy.
Curtis is a member of the Vancouver Ultimate League and Triathlon Canada. He is usually seen cycling to the office daily. Otherwise, his favourite recreational activities are sailing, skiing and motorcycling.
